Embase contains bibliographic records with citations, abstracts and indexing derived from biomedical articles in peer reviewed journals, with especially strong coverage of drug and pharmaceutical research, pharmacology and toxicology. Embase also includes Embase Classic, a backfile of historical records from 1947-1973.
